
The Digital Blueprint: Multidisciplinary Case Planning in the Digital Era with Amiram Avitan
Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Amiram Avitan embarked on an international academic journey that led him to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Following his graduation, he developed his clinical skills and gained invaluable experience focusing on full-mouth rehabilitation cases.
Initially focusing on endodontics, prosthetic and restorative dentistry, Amiram later developed his expertise in aesthetic and functional rehabilitation of the whole mouth. His dedication to precision and innovation has led him to integrate digital dentistry into his practice, using cutting-edge tools such as Smilecloud, Modjaw and Occlusense to improve treatment prognosis and ensure optimal outcomes.
With a relentless pursuit of excellence, Amiram continues to push the boundaries of modern dentistry, combining knowledge and technology to create exceptional patient experiences.

PROGRAMME:
DAY 1
09:00 – 12:00 | Lecture on Smilecloud and the new 3DNA
- In-depth introduction to Smilecloud and the latest 3DNA advancements.
13:00 – 14:00 | Initial documentation – Hands-on
Participants will learn how to gather all essential diagnostic information during the first consultation, including:
- Intraoral and extraoral photography
- CBCT imaging
- Intraoral scans
- Hands-on practice in uploading data to Smilecloud.
A comprehensive booklet (available via Dropbox) will be provided for reference
14:30 – 17:00 | 14:30 – 17:00 | Smile Design & Treatment Planning – Hands-on Session
- Participants will use their laptops to design smiles based on the acquired data.
- One-on-one guidance and feedback will be provided throughout the session.
DAY 2
09:00 – 10:30 | Working with the patient
- Fabrication of a silicone key from the 3D-printed smile design created on Day 1.
- Live mock-up application on a patient, followed by professional photography and videography.
- Uploading case details to Smilecloud and strategies for case presentation to patients.
11:00 – 13:00 | Case studies: challenges and solutions
- Discussion of cases that encountered complications and how they were successfully corrected.
14:00 – 17:00 | Presentation of participant cases and additional case studies
- Open session for participants to present and discuss their own cases.
- If time permits, additional case studies will be shared and analyzed.
