Teeth whitening is a highly effective and largely underestimated element of smile shaping in minimally invasive treatment. This is often because whitening takes time, doesn’t always give the desired result, and depends to some extent on the patient’s mood and will. Nevertheless, professional teeth whitening is a very important element in aesthetic restorations – after all, teeth whitening can lead to the choice of colour for aesthetic fillings or dentures.
Teeth whitening can be done using different systems, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Which whitening system should I choose so that the patient is not disappointed and the desired result is achieved? Can we offer a whitening procedure to every patient? What is the protocol for successful whitening? Justina Sakalauskė will answer these and other questions.
Justina Sakalauskė is a teeth whitening and oral hygiene specialist who specialises in the structure of teeth, the chemical properties of the materials used and their principles of action.
The large number of whitening treatments she has undergone has helped Justina to identify the most common mistakes in teeth whitening and the options that allow her to achieve good results. She provides training for clinics on teeth whitening, oral and dental health and care.
The course will cover:
1. Tooth structure and tooth whitening techniques.
2. Tooth whitening agents, their chemical composition, properties and principles of action.
3. Penetration of bleaching material. Why do my teeth become white?
4. Indications and contraindications – common mistakes and missed opportunities.
5. Desensitising agents and how to avoid tooth sensitivity – experiences.
